Virtual Interviewing Tips
- Dress for the job or company – Just because it’s virtual on the day of your interview doesn’t mean you dress casual
- Do NOT have your cell phone with you during the interview; Or power it off, this means NO Vibrate!
- Prior to interview review your surroundings and background; make sure there’s no clutter; create a virtual background if necessary.
- Arrange for at least 1 hour of uninterrupted space during interview time; make arrangements with family, friends & animals to stay away.
- Behavioral question will ask candidates to provide an example of when they have previously used a skill, competency or behavior. The candidate is expected to describe the specific experience clearly and concisely. Be prepared!
- It is critical to your success to be able to come up with a couple of insightful questions to ask the interviewer. Research your company, so your questions are related
